Handy hints:

• Use oil paint with a wooden palette (solvents such as turpentine and white spirits may damage plastic palettes)

• Change paint consistency by adding small amounts of turpentine or linseed oil

• Prepare your surface with a coat of primer

• Paint separation may occur if the tube is left stationary for a while and is normal as over time, the heavier pigments sink to the bottom. Quickly fix this by remixing the paint with a brush or palette knife until blended
