The B9, as we call it, is a small, handy kalmia with a solid resonance corpus of American Cherrywood. It is the ‘sister’ of the B7 model. The magic of playing this kalimba and her sisters is resulted from the fact that the vibrations of the tines is significantly felt in the hands of the player and thus the sounds are transmitted into his/her body and bestow a magic peaceful feeling.
