Large Burrs/Grooves from the harmonic balancer on USED crankshafts may need to be removed / sanded slightly to provide a smooth and easy sliding fit. If you dont remove the burs from your crankshaft left by the removal of the harmonic balancer this tool may be tight fit – ITS NOT THE TOOL DUMMY!! . It is designed for a BUR-Free New crankshaft.
