Made with handmade powder beads from the Krobo Region of Ghana, West Africa this is a tradition over 500 years old. Hand painted with traditional motifs and layers of color. Each bead is made by recycling old glass bottles.
Sales directly support artisan families who have been bead makers for generations.
Each bracelets come with an authentic wax fabric bag as well as a post card that explain both the history and the bead making process. The average bead size is 10mm, please check the bead scale picture in the listing as a refernce.
